Teachers’ Work-Related Well-Being in Times of COVID-19: The Effects of Technostress and Online Teaching

Following the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic, one first measures implemented in Italy was transition from frontal teaching to online teaching. The sudden need use technologies perform their job has added a source stress teachers’ work: so-called technostress. difficulties experienced this may also have affected perception work-related well-being, although other variables, such as meaningfulness work, could alleviate sense uneasiness. study aims examine relationships between technostress, teaching, pleasure working, and meaningful work perceptions among 219 teachers different school grades through moderated mediation model. results confirm negative associations technostress relationship varies according levels perceived meaningfulness. Analyzing factors related both general during pandemic situation, is useful for tracing new coping strategies planning interventions implement methods. Further implications concerning protective role are discussed.
